INSPIRAL FLOW

LET ME INSPIRE YOU

What is INSPIRAL FLOW?

Are you new to mind body exercises like Pilates & Yoga?

Do you hear the word FLOW in a class  and think about flowing down the river in a raft or a waterfall?

What does it mean to FLOW in a class?

Discover the joy of movement energy and breath that invites fluidity, expansion, awareness and grounding in my Inspiral Flow Yoga and Pilates.

INSPIRAL FLOW uses the rhythm and energy of the waves of the breath in a way that it feels like you are constantlyI flowing and sensing the movement phrasing.

InSpiral Flow, is my own innovative movement method inspired by the body’s innate spiral movements and my love for movement freedom and functionality in the bodies.

This is less about holding poses and more about exploring the spaces in between them. There is a focus on how the human body moves as a whole, inviting the ground, spine and breath into this experience.

As a dancer and choreographer , I love to move and I love to facilitate people on their movement journey.

An intimate & poetic voyage back into our bodies through movement, music, flow and breath.

My InSpiral Flow classes are for everyone who would like to find more freedom, strength, confidence, fluidity and flow, in body and mind. All are welcome. It doesn’t matter if you have never done Yoga , Pilates or Garuda before, or if you have been practising for years.

I have drawn on my experience from Dance, Scaravelli - Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, Garuda Method, Pilates, Body mind centring, Contact improvisation and Gyrokinesis, to develop this flowing practice which supports each individual to discover their own rhythms by following the breath, using gravity and accessing the potential that lies waiting within.

I believe that the body is infinitely expressive and open to change.  I encourage everyone to explore the unity of their mind and body, to become aware of habits so that areas of tension can be gently release

Using awareness of sensation I will guide students to explore natural spirals, waves, pulses, expansion and contraction, integrated movement, breath and pause. Listening without judgement to what their body has to say, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Whether it is a slow flow or dynamic class, the journey will invite you to a conversation with yourself, your body, your mind and your emotion.

Yoga, Pilates and Garuda classes for all, in South East London, Peckham, East Dulwich, Elephant & Castle and Camberwell.
